What is the 2020 solar rebate?

You are entitled to the Federal Government’s hugely popular ‘solar rebate’ when you install solar power at your home! The ‘rebate’ or Small-Scale Technology Certificate (STC) Scheme is extremely generous and you can claim $3700+ on a 6.6kW system depending on where you live! The CEC Design Guidelines allow you to install one third more panels than your inverter is rated at. For this reason, we recommend ‘overclocking’ your inverter to allow you to claim 33% more solar rebate and this will also help you produce to more power during low light conditions.
